The beginning...

This place is pretty much how I pictured it: Hot as hell, barren as hell, and confusing as hell, which can only mean one thing…I must be in hell. I knew I shouldn’t have taken that left turn at Albuquerque. Stupid New Mexico…Has to be the most worthless state there is, next to Florida. Anyway, I’m getting off topic. I was talking about my new found home in Hell. It’s not as bad as you would think. Sure it is 117 degrees outside as I am writing this, but that is beside the point. It’s a DRY HEAT!!!! Believe it or not the no humidity factor is definitely nice. The fact that I break out into a sweat just by walking out my door means nothing… “At least there is no humidity” I say to myself over and over again. It helps…so shut up!!! In all honesty though, I think I am going to like it here. There is tons of stuff to do, the school seems awesome, and my roommates so far seem cool enough. My apartment is pretty far away from the ASU campus though, which kind of sucks. That seems to be where most of the cool hang out places are…and yes, by cool hang out places I really mean bars and other places in which I can get my drink on. I’ll find a way though, it’s how I roll. But back to my apartment…it might as well be a resort as far as I’m concerned. A very cheap one, but a resort none the less. All the apartment complexes out here seem to be really nice, I guess cause no one wants to go out in the heat so they want their apartments to be kick a$$. But it’s awesome, there is: 2 pools, a weight room, little fountains and streams everywhere. I know, extra water just being run throughout the complex, crazy isn’t it. I didn’t think they would have much water to spare. I do feel the need to inform everyone out there though that do to the heat and the fact that it is always sunny…There is a very slight chance that I, Jason Winnett, might…..get…..a tan. I know, its never going happen, but don’t ruin my dreams of one day no longer being able to hide against a white wall. It was cool at first, but now, it’s just getting old. It’s really strange though, of the few white people I have managed to find here…they are all almost as white as I am. It doesn’t make any sense, but I will figure out this mystery of how people out here manage to stay so pale…It is my destiny!!! It’s shaping up to be an interesting couple of years here, but I am ready for it.

Hi Jason, Since you are in Hell, please make an effort to say hi to some of your relatives who have preceeded you. They should be easy to spot. They will be in charge or at the very least they will be Satan's right hand man. Glad you like it there. I will see you there soon. Call or email about your phone info.
